hilsOne of my senior managers has made a complaint to the deputy CE about the wording of the feeback, specifically the line about 'the responses were not considered strong enough to indicate suitability to perform the full range of duties in the next grade'.
Because I passed a management assessment board last year, this was just supposed to be a suitability interview to see if I have the skills to do the specific job, not whether I am management material. I have already demonstrated that.
The decisions won't change at all but I've been told I have grounds to make a formal complaint should I choose. I'm not going to but it appears the guy interviewing me was treating it as a promotion interview rather than a suitability interview

I'm just going to do my best tomorrow. It's all I can do and if I don't get it then there will be other jobs.
