drbillbongo off at the airport a couple of hours ago and I've just had a text from her to say she landed safely
It's been a great couple of weeks. I spent way too much money but it was worth it. We had so much fun, saw some amazing things (I'll post some more photos tomorrow) and learned a lot. See, education CAN be fun ;)
We got my mum addicted to The Bean Game and she's now looking for her own copy so she can teach dad to play. Hehe.
I don't wanna go back to work tomorrow *wails* I've only got tomorrow and then my boss is away for 2 weeks so I'm in charge of the office.
My interview is now on the 26th but I'm not sure I want it now. The company is getting privatised next year which means I'll no longer be a civil servant. I need to decide if the increase in pay and the more interesting job are worth it. Civil Service pensions are among the best and it's a job for life. I won't find that level of job security elsewhere. Of course this all depends if I actually get offered the job. I have a couple of weeks to think about it.
