I'm still officially on LJ/internet hiatus but I had to pop on a do a quick flyby post because I finally got around to seeing the BBC series of Neverwhere

It was a bit weird, because I'd read the book first I had a specific idea in my head what all the characters looked like. Some of them were pretty close (Richard and Door) and others were WAY off (The Marquis and Croup and Vandemar). Lamia would have been great if she wasn't being played by Tamsin Grieg. She will always be Fran to me. LOL.

Other than that it was pretty good. A shame they only had a very small budget. But you never know, if Stardust is a big success they might decide to remake it for the big screen.

Andy wins the award for both the best and the most shocking comments of the evening

Best: "That angel must be evil. The actor always plays evil characters."

Shocking: (When Islington is still in the shadows) He can't be an angel! He's black!

Yes, Andy is without a doubt the most un-PC friend I have
