Please read this, if for nothing else but to remind yourself why fandom is both a blessed and evil thing.
In lieu of this wonderful post, I'm declaring the following week, starting today, to be Fandom Dedication Week. Write something, make icons, whatever you please, only dedicate it/them to someone in your favorite fandom, someone who has touched your life in some way and has made it just a little brighter. It could be your internet BFF or someone who delurked in your journal long enough to tell you they love your work. Or even an iconmaker/fic author who has helped feed your obsession!
