Lost (again)
Feb. 9th, 2006 08:05 pmA slightly more coherant post
I find it really interesting that the opinion is divided on this episode. Some people are 'Wow, this is the best episode ever. Josh Hollway is an amazing actor and I'm so pleased Sawyer and Charlie stuck it to everyone else'
Others are 'I can't believe what a prick Sawyer is being. Grar!'
My inital gut reaction was towards the latter. I was just so surprised. Since Sawyer woke up in the hatch he's been different. Nicer. Softer. I was kind of getting used to it. His revert back to what he was before (and in all fairness is obviously true to the character) just sort of hit me like a kick in the stomach.
My main problem is why he did it. I can see why Charlie did what he did (although attacking Sun to get at Locke was a bit off) but I don't get Sawyer's motives. I don't think we're supposed to get it. Not yet anyway. Hence Kate's little speech to him. But looking at it I think all will be made clear at another time.
So, actually, it WAS a good episode. I just got upset when presented with the real Sawyer. LOL. As he says, he's not a nice man. Goddamn I love this show! Takes you where you really don't think you'll be. A place you don't necessarily want to be but you still end up loving it
Whose episode is it next week?
