The management job that was going was given to another woman in my office. She also passed the suitability interview for boss lady's old job and she's worked there longer than me so she got it based on that. We have a really stupid promotion system. People who failed to pass the management assessment board (like this woman) can still apply for temporary management jobs and get them if they've had long enough service. Feh!
