hilsI knew there was something else that had annoyed me today
We've bought a sofabed for when we have loads of people staying over for our birthday party next month. I phoned the furniture recycling place to get them to collect our old one (They give them to families on low incomes. Out sofa is only a year old and just needs a clean). They said they didn't want it as they have too many sofas. Fair enough. I phoned our local council and explained that we had a sofa that needed disposing of and that we don't have a car to transport it. They will remove it for the cost of £20
What exactly is our council tax paying for?
