Addiction thy name is Lord of the Rings
May. 2nd, 2005 12:32 amI bought a new Lord of the Rings game today: Third Age. Plan was to fire it up while Jacqui was using the internet just to see how it looked. That was at about 5pm. At 12:15am I finally stopped playing it when I got to the end of the Moria levels
I LOVE THIS GAME. It's an RPG very much in a similar vein to the Final Fantasy games, only it's Lord of the Rings. Your party is all original characters, but you interact with the ones from the books/films too. I just helped Gandalf defeat the Balrog
The main character is a Gondorian soldier who is searching for Boromir...not sure why yet. The love interest appears to be a female Lothlorien elf and I've got a ranger and a dwarf with me too. SQUEEE!!!!
Unlike Battle for Middle Earth it looks like they haven't changed the plot so I fear Boromir will soon be dead *sob*
Still, this game ROCKS!!!
