I was watching a news feature about the liberation of Auschwitz and I cried. I cried for what those poor people had to go through and I cried because 60 years later we're still here killing each other. On the same day as this memorial we find out that Harold Shipman is now thought to have killed 250 people and Tony Blair is sending more troops into Iraq
There was also a programme on BBC2 tonight about Ben and the men he was with when he was killed. It was basically an investigation into whether the Army was at least partially to blame for their deaths. I couldn't bring myself to watch it. I wonder if they took into consideration the effect this programme would have on the families of those who were killed.
Someone please tell me there are some positive things happening out there in the world. At the moment all I see is pain and loss
