An interesting question

This was brought about after gledster2000 looked at that slash link I posted earlier. My question is this:-

Why are men more grossed out by gay men than women are by lesbians?

We were talking about it at work the other day and the men were like 'Eew! Gay men! Sick! Gross!' etc and the women were all 'Lesbians? *shrug*' Interestingly one of the women in my office finds the image of gay men in no way erotic and was really surprised when I said I found it sexy...if the men are pretty of course. Saying that, I find lesbians equally erotic if they're pretty too so I guess I'm not stereotypical
