hilsThere is going to be a strike at work on Fridat over civil service redundancies. I'm not in the union so I don't have to strike but the idea of crossing a picket line worries me. I've been told the people picketing can get quite abusive and I really don't need that. Everyone else seems to be coming into work but they'll all be in cars so it's less of a worry for them. Any suggestions. If it comes to it I can take the day off as holiday. I don't feel strongly enough about this issue to strike and I don't want an unauthorised absence on my file

My phone is knackered. It works fine until I try to use the WAP and then it switches itself off. I really don't know what's wrong with it.

mum_ra has already agreed to get me a new one for Christmas so I only need to hold out for a few more weeks. Can anyone suggest some good phones? Ideally I'd like one on the Orange network but it's not essential. It also needs to be pay as you go rather than a contract phone
