hilsIt's been a pretty good end of weekend today. Went out for lunch with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
mum_ra and flickums and then went to see Finding Neverland with jacqui_hw and jazz_police
I loved the film and it made me cry. I swear one of these days Johnny Depp will churn out a poor performance in something and my whole world will be shattered.
They're doing a special screening of Edward Scissorhands at the cinema next weekend and I would dearly love to go but alas I am away. I adore that film SO much and it reduces me to a sobbing wreck every time I see it
All that said though, and even though I've had a totally fab weekend a small part of me wishes I'd been able to go to the James and David event this weekend. I feel like I haven't seen James in forever, even though it was only a few months ago. With my shaky financial situation god knows when I'll get to go to another con after the cruise. I'm going to have to put holidays and whatnot on the back burner until I can build up my savings a bit. I get a pay rise in August and I should hopefully get a bonus on top of that so that will help a lot. I can manage in the meantime but things are just a little tight
Anyway, I hope all those who saw James and David at the weekend had a good time :)
