Hils' tale of woe

I've been doing a computer training course on a Friday morning for the last few weeks. The training itself was easy, easy to the point of being patronising. I had to learn how to turn a computer on for christ's sake!
Anyway, I completed all the training modules and then it came time to take the exams. There are 7 in total, each one relating to the relevent module
Exam 1 - Basic Computing - Pass
Exam 2 - Basic IT - Pass
Exam 3 - MS Word - Pass
Exam 4 - MS Excel - Fail
WTF??
During the training modules you have to take a series of tests. I got between 80 and 100% on all of them. I took the Exel mock exam and passed. Took the real exam and failed. Revised the module and took the exam again. Failed again. The stupid woman who runs the course can't tell me what I'm doing wrong and her current suggestion is that I do the whole Excel module again and then take the exam again. So what was the point in doing the module in the first place if I have to do it again
GRR!!!
I have two more attempts at the Excel exam and if I fail them then I fail the whole course.
So frustrating and depressing. I'm hardly computer illiterate!
So, that's what I've got to look forward to tomorrow morning :(
