Stupid trolls!!!

Anyone got any tips for killing the cave troll in the forest in the Two Towers game? I'm playing Aragorn and every time I try to hit the damn thing with my sword, he picks me up, hurls me around and I die. Even when I hit him from behind he does this

Tips?

On an unrelated note it smells so fresh and clean outside. I love visiting my parents. I miss the country so much :(
