hilsWell, at least today has been a LOT better than yesterday. Managed not to burn lunch and spent the whole day watching Christmas films. I think I'm now nominating Miracle on 34th Street as my fave Crimbo film. Still don't like It's A Wonderful Life.
Was supposed to spend a nice quiet evening with Dave tonight but one of my old uni friends said she wanted to come over and see me before Christmas. Couldn't really say no, she's been gagging to meet Dave for ages and it will be the only time I get to see her. Still, she really liked him so that's a big yay. He's been a big hit with all my friends so far :)
So, tonight was my last night with Dave and we didn't really get much alone time. We've had lots of cuddles on the sofa all weekend though which was nice and we're going to keep in touch by phone over the week I'm away. Who knows, maybe next year we'll be spending Christmas together :)
Well, I've just realised I don't have to go to work tomorrow which is cool. I can sit down and get my Secret Santa fic finished. It's about half done so far and I reckon a couple of hours of solid writing should get it finished. Here's hoping :)
