I HAVE THE POWER!!!!

hilsToday has been a mixture of both good and bad. I went to Sheffield to visit ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
flickums. It was good, but the stupid cold left me feeling drained after we'd done about an hours worth of shopping so we headed back to her flat. Tried to get her set up on the internet but alas failed. In the end we settled down and watched my He-Man DVD *points at icon*. It was SO funny. I just love the little moral at the end of each episode. Remember not to talk to strangers, folks.
Once the laughter had abated we headed out for dinner. Dave rang while we were waiting for dessert and we chatted for a while which was nice :)
Headed to the station after that and I got on my train. Unfortunately when we reached Doncaster it was suddenly announced that a train had broken down outside York and that we had to get off here and find anouther route. Great! By this time I was tired, feeling particularly ill and just wanting to go home. In the end I had to go to Leeds and get a train from there to York (this is a pretty big diversion for those of you in the US. It added about an extra hour onto my journey).
Anyway I finally made it home and am looking forward to tucking myself up in bed. Going shopping with Dave after work tomorrow and then it's off to Newcastle to visitjacqui_hw.
