Sunday 20th July (PM)

After the con was over we headed up to Tracy's room and ordered pizza. Once that was eaten we headed to the mall to see Pirates of the Carribbean. I loved it! Nowhere near as cheesy as I thought it was going to be and Johnny Depp was fantastic.

After the film we came back and a bunch of us played a couple of games of Scrabble. Of course we played the silly version where the aim was to make rude words, Buffy related words and of course normal words. LOL

Since most people were leaving the next morning we said our goodbyes and took a bunch of photos.

Monday 21st July

Ow! I'm burned all over! I really should have put sunblock on. I just completely forgot about it because I've been inside all weekend and haven't needed it.

It's been a nice quiet day which is kind of nice after the craziness of the weekend. A few people came by this morning to say goodbye and there are only six of us left now.

We spent the day pretty much just lounging around. We went to Deny's for breakfast but their pancakes weren't as nice as Ihops. We then spent ages just lounging by the pool and I now look like a lobster. The pale goth look is over for me for a while.

This afternoon we went to Taco Bell and it was really good. Why don't we have any of these places here? I had a steak taco and a chicken taco and they were both yummy.

After the food we went to a nearby porn shop and just laughed at all the stuff it had. The guy who ran the shop indulged us and showed us a range of amusing things before giving us free straws shapes like penises. It was hilarious.

After that we just kind of chilled out. A few people went to watch Dreamcatcher. I checked my e mail and then headed to bed.

WON'T be going out in the sun tomorrow.

Tuesday 22nd July

Nice quiet day again today. We slept in and then headed to Ihop for breakfast. Took pictures for nostalgia and then we went to Wal-Mart so Kris and I could get our pictures developed. What was supposed to be an hour job ended up being two so we just hung around and were silly until they were ready.

We spent the evening just hanging out, eating pizza and chatting. It was nice

Wednesday 23rd July

Oh, how I hate travelling. Flight to Washington was fine. Was sat next ti Kris and all was good. Flight to Washington I got stuck with a party of school kids and the girl sat next to me would NOT sit still for more than five minutes. NOT amused. In the end I listened to Storm Front and pretende James was reading to me and I wasn't on a plane full of brats.

Made the foolish error of not picking up a luggage cart at Heathrow thinking the tube station wouldn't be far. Wrong! Had to lug my stuff for miles. Not good.

Then I had the problem of the lack of lifts again. Luckily someone helped me carry my bag up the stairs - and then asked for some money for a coffee. For once I would have done it. But I had no English money on me. I felt bad.

Train journey home was fine and that's it. Here I am
