Buffy rant

hilsJust been reading some spoilers and I'm not happy
Apparently there is kissage between Buffy and Spike, after which she tells him that she STILL can't be with him. This apparently drives him to working for the Big Bad.
It's not clear at the moment whether it's the real Buffy that kisses him, or whatever it is in the basement that makes him see things. Either way it's crap. I thought Buffy and Spike would be moving forward in their relationship but it seems they're going backwards. Well, I guess Joss did say he wanted to go back to the beginning.
I don't know how much longer I can keep watchng this show
