hilsRather a pleasant evening tonight. Got all gothed up and headed out to go to the theatre with a couple of my friends. On the way I was complimented by a rather attractive American guy on how nice I looked which is always a nice little ego boost.
The play itself was pretty average. It was a production of Emma and since I love Jane Austen, it really wasn't going to measure up no matter how good it was. As it stood the play wasn't that brilliant anyway. Emma had a rather annoying lisp and appeared to be trying to be Gwenyth Paltrow. Mr Knightly was over dramatising everything. Frank Churchill, Mr Elton, Mrs Elton and Mr Woodhouse were entertaining though and that made it tolerable.
After the play we went to the pub to see a bunch of Tyson and Bianca's friends. Felt a little out of place amongst a large group of hippies but they were all too stoned to notice. They seemed pleasant enough anyway, and the amount of passive smoke I must have breathed in did enough to chill me out.
Am now back at home and feeling pretty relaxed. I think I need to go find food though.
