hilsRemind me not to let people tell me about films before I go and see them. I went to see Queen of the Damned tonight. I didn't really know much about it apart from a few general comments. One person mentioned that the music was a little oppressive in places and another person mentioned that Aaliyah walks a little strangely. When I went to see it for myself all I could notice was the oppresive music and Aaliyah's funny walk.
Still, overall the film was pretty good. I wasn't expecting anything spectacular but it was nicely visual and Stuart Townsend was a much hotter Lestat than Tom Cruise. In my opinion of course. The guy playing Marius was pretty fine too, not that I went to see it just to drool over attractive men of course ;)
I also enjoyed the music and shall probably buy the soundtrack tomorrow. It'll be something new to inflict on Tom anyway
