hils1. What did you do in 2016 that you'd never done before?
Went to Nine Worlds. It was fun.
2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Uh...I don't think I made any and I probably won't next year either
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Nope
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No.
5. What countries did you visit?
Scotland
6. What would you like to have in 2017 that you lacked in 2016?
Hope that things are going to get better. I'm not holding my breath
7. What dates from 2016 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
God, I am crap at remembering dates but the date of the Brexit Referendum and the US Presidential Election
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Achieved all my work targets, wrote a 23k fic
9. What was your biggest failure?
Fallen WAY behind on all my TV shows
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Broke my toe, had a sinus infection, trapped a nerve in my back, had an inflamed muscle in my chest. It has not been a good year health-wise.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Tickets to hockey games for next month? My Geno jersey? My Pens shirts? Something hockey related :-p
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Kris for getting me writing again and cheerleading so I stuck with it, Kelsey for taking hockey notes and keeping me updated with what's going on because the games are all when I am sleeping
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
The alt-right and anyone who voted for Brexit or Trump
14. Where did most of your money go?
My car
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Hockey, especially when the Pens won the Stanley Cup

Anything from the In The Heights soundtrack. I listened to it a lot
