Kent has a mid-life crisis at 27 and starts cooking his way to enlightenment with his teammate, like that woman from the food movie about Julia Child. Or something like that.

In the story of Kent’s life, Jack is the one who got away.

(Or: Kent’s always had a bad habit of pushing hard on his bruises the next day, just to feel how something can leave a ache long after it’s done hurting you. Maybe that’s why he’s at this wedding.)
