Love Begins At Home by seektheinfinite and thisissirius
It’s almost painful watching his cats’ distress at being turfed off of Bond; Q has to stop himself from giving in and letting Bond stay.
It starts with a cat. There's a lot of weirdness in-between. The end is something completely unexpected.

Peace Is An Interlude Between Wars by blackidyll
There's something terribly fragile about the limp body currently cradled in James’s arms. James has never had the opportunity to catch Q in a moment of rest or slumber, so he doesn’t know if Q always looks so utterly defenceless whenever he’s asleep, or whether he just looks that way when unconscious and beaten to within an inch of his life.
It’s not a piece of knowledge James ever wanted possession of, but he knows what the latter looks like now.
So glad someone wrote this after finding out it could have been in the movie
Creating What We Can't Reserve by taormina
Q’s soul broke into a million pieces when he killed that man, that stranger.
Then Bond showed up and put him back together again.
Yeah, there’s probably going to be a few recs of fics based on this missing scene. I love Q’s voice in this one

One Equal Temper of Heroic Hearts by 17pansies
Bill Tanner knows how it is and really doesn't expect much to change. M, it appears, has other ideas; assuming Tanner doesn't manage to get himself killed when someone tries to blow up MI6.
Not a pairing I’d ever considered before but this was wonderful!
Fenris/Hawke (Dragon Age)
The Champion of Kirkwall by bullfinch
Varric’s recounting of Hawke’s duel with the Arishok is glorious and triumphant. It’s also a complete fabrication. Better that than to put down in print an incident neither Hawke nor his companions want to remember in any kind of detail.
This is really sweet

Sometimes Bucky thinks it would be really cute to meet someone in a coffee shop, like in those silly romantic comedies Clint makes him watch. But there is a reason why meet cutes in cafes don’t happen in real life, and it’s because customers suck.
And besides, love fades.
But coffee? Coffee is forever.

This is a story about love and life--and coffee, which Bucky would've argued was probably more important than either of the first.
But that was before Steve Rogers came along.

What Do You Mean We Left Clint On Mars? by sara_holmes
“What do you mean we left Clint on Mars?”
Cap’s incredulous voice cuts through the stunned silence of the cockpit, loud and shocked. He’s standing there with his cowl in hand, gaping at the holo-screen at the front of the jet. Next to him, Tony is standing with his hands on his head, mouth hanging open in a similar fashion. Over on the other side of the cockpit is Jane, who has both palms clapped across her mouth like she’s trying to hold back hysterical giggles.
For his part, Bucky is just staring at the screen like he can’t quite believe what’s going on.
Oh, this is amazing! Captures the tone of the book perfectly!
