I’m not losing him to some egotistical mind-f***ing blade-dancer who has mentor issues and wants to take it out on our asset.”
Phil nodded efficiently. He couldn’t agree more.
I love the way Phil is written in this one. Feels very in character

There is a slight misstep in the binocular sights and a sudden cloud of dust on the opposite side of the ravine, and then everything goes dark for both of them. This is the high point of the operation.
Epic amounts of whump with both Phil and Clint still managing to be awesome despite it all

Steve/Tony (Avengers)

Steve takes things like personal responsibility and respect seriously. Tony's got people he pays to take care of that kind of thing, and anyway, he's pretty sure that he's going to die of some exotic disease in his workshop, because Dummy's still a little spotty about what is 'clean' enough to put on an open wound. The rest of the Avengers are in this for personal gain, except for Clint, he just enjoys being a dick.
And some things shouldn't be a chore.
This is easily the cutest and most awesome thing I have read in this fandom

Tony has a point system for the times he can get Steve to be less than perfect.
This is just such a perfect Tony fic, because it's absolutely the sort of thing he would do

I wonder if it's just me, but it feels like fandom in general has decided that the Avengers is the most squee-worthy movie of the year. As in, it feels like almost everybody is falling into the fandom.
