I may not have been on board with all the Sera hate but I'm not going to lie I did a happy dance when I heard she was stepping down as showrunner and being replaced by Jeremy Carver. Carver is one of my favourite writers of the show so I'm really hopeful that he'll do good things with SPN in S8 (which from what I can tell is pretty much a certainty now).

So, YAY!

Yeah this is pretty much how I feel about it. I didn't hate her with the intensity some fans did, but I have found the past two seasons a little on the boring side and am excited for Carver taking over because I love the episodes he's written.

Yeah, I never dug Sera too much but the misogyny and hatefulness towards her from women was hard to witness. I hope she has a long happy career and makes projects that make those same fangirls ashamed.

And I am so excited about Carver my brain asplode! I have every confidence that things will rock from here on out. God, the stuff he did with these characters was always, always, magic. Even if he somehow has an anuerysm and he messes it up in future, it'll be messed up by a guy who truly loves and is comitted to this show. Wheeeeee!
