Unfortunately this episode was ruined for me because I was told there was an exciting reveal at the end. My mind went into overdrive and came up with scenarios that were way more exciting than what actually happened.

When Garth said he loved to drink anything sweet I was all 'OMG WHAT IF GARTH IS GABRIEL AND HE CAN SWOOP IN AND KILL THE LEVIATHANS AND FIX CAS AND EVERYTHING WILL BE PERFECT'

Yeah, still disappointed that that didn't happen ;)

Bobby's ghost really wasn't that much of a surprise to me. They've been building up to this since he died. I'm a little concerned where headed towards silliness like Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) where Bobby assists Sam and Dean from beyond the grave.

I see they've clarified that Meg was in the hospital with Sam and Dean's knowledge so at least that's something.

So, yeah, that was okay. Definitely a filler ep but not a bad one. Garth is cute.

Sam's hair scores 3/5 again this week. Not bad but not awesome.

I figured they were building up to Bobby, but no way this soon! Ergo, I was completely caught off guard and that pretty much swung this one for me :)

The episode itself was only so-so.

What is all this with people not knowing the boys knew about Meg though? It was pretty obvious at the end of last week? They were talking about her at the end and how they hadn't made a deal but had a different kind of arrangement. I'm confused as to why so many people thought Dean and Sam didn't know... eh.

Due to the way this episode addressed a couple of ongoing strands as well - the boys checking up on Cas and, you know, Bobby - I would say it's something a little more than a filler. The end scene alone makes it too important for that. But then, YMMV :p

Despite my overexcitement about Cas and Bobby stuff, I don't think our opinions differ too wildly this week however :) (I'm even with you on Sam's hair - though I wish you'd rated last week, I'd have given that a 5, despite the tragic circumstances :p)

Had I rated Sam's hair last week it would definitely have scored a 5 :D

I just felt too guilty rating him superficially when he was so broken.

Still wish Garth was Gabriel ;)

I would have been kinda pissed if Garth was Gabe tbh. I'm sort of coming round to Garth now, but MAN, Gabriel deserves MUCH BETTER. So glad that wasn't a theory that I discovered - there would have been RAEG!

And I prefer my boys broken and I'm not even sorry ;)

Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) FTW!

I was mostly bored throughout, but to be fair, I wasn't paying all that much attention while watching. Garth just doesn't interest me all that much, and I'd also been told there was a big surprise at the end, so... yeah.
