hilsI don't know why it hasn't occurred to me to use my DW more often, especially considering I have people who read me here who don't follow me on LJ.
So, okay, a quick summary of what's going on.
I've recently started working for Misha Collin's non-profit organisation Random Acts
As well as promoting random acts of kindness across the world and bringing a bit of joy to people's lives the organisation is running a trip to Haiti next month to help build a community centre for homeless orphans. Full details of the project can be found here at Hope 2 Haiti
Unfortunately due to timing reasons I am not able to participate in the trip myself, but I want to do what I can to raise money for my friends and colleagues who are going. So I have a few fundraising projects on the go.
1. Tomorrow (Friday 13th May) I will be doing a 24 hour blog about Jensen Ackles. For those of you who aren't aware it's been an ongoing joke that I am the only person in the Supernatural fandom who doesn't think he's hotter than burning. This is my punishment ;)
2. Immediately after that on Sat/Sun/Mon I will be doing a 72 hour sponsored silence on all my social media channels. Those of you who know me will know how incredibly difficult this will be for me.
3. I am offering up fic any time between now and June 20th in exchange for a donation
4. On May 30th I will do a 5k run. Given how unfit I am there is a chance I will die ;)
5. I am auctioning off a Castiel print signed by Misha Collins. Bidding ends tomorrow (Friday 13th May)
6. And if you want to request anything else you can do so here. It's for charity. I'll do just about anything.
