My decision to stop watching Smallville appears to be much like breaking up with a boyfriend. Already the little voices are telling me to take it back. It might not be so bad this time. The show has a lot of endearing qualities etc.

Quick, someone tell me the bad stuff again before I wind up downloading this weeks episode

Oh, and I have my new hard drive now. WOO!

This week's ep was actually pretty good. I've liked this season, with the exception of the Lana episodes.

Don't! You have to be strong! If you watch Smallville, Merlin and Arthur will suffer horrible pain and they both gonna get married - to girls. And, they will never ever see each other again!

Also, if you get your hands on any new Smallville episode, your new hard drive will blow up, and... I'm running out of threats, but trust me: horrible things will happen! *nods*

I haven't watched, either, and I'm not planning too. IN fact, I'm sucessfully denying season 8.

UGH this show. I haven't watched the last 4 episodes I think. I don't think I'll watch anymore. I still ship it, but I just get too angry with the direction they're taking to enjoy watching it anymore.

There are many, MANY nicer (AND GAYER!) shows that you could be watching.

I've managed to keep from watching at all this season, but it's tough with my Dad being a Smallville addict, too. I just force him to watch it on his laptop, and make him swear not to tell me what's going on. Heh. Try to stay strong!

And, after reading the comments, I'm actually thinking of giving Merlin another shot--I've only seen the first episode, thanks to a download.
