It's pay day! There's something very satisfying about spending money on the day you get paid, especially when I've got extra overtime money in there *g* Today I have bought:

Train tickets to visit yavannauk next month

PendraCon ticket (go to merlinmeet for full details)

Birthday present for flickums

New iPod headphones

I'm trying not to think about how much that comes to in total. Lalalala!

Yay for train tickets! This means I have to make the spare room tidy enough to use now, doesn't it? LOL!

Annoyingly, the Premier Inn site won't let you book a family room unless you list one of the guests as a child under 16. Sadly I'm not sure that any of us would pass! LOL! Also, I can't tell from the photos if there is actually a couch in the room to use as an alternative. Grr. I will look at the site in more detail tomorrow when hopefully my antihistamines will have kicked in and stopped my eyes being swollen shut. God, I love my sinuses. /sarcasm

That is annoying! I've stayed in a family room with friends before but I think that was at a Travel Lodge

Yes, basically any room in a Travelodge is a family room because they have the couch that also has the small pull out mattress in the bottom. I've never stayed in a Premier Inn, but obviously they have a different set up.

I was going to look at getting a single by myself but all they can offer is a double which is a bit pricey on my own :(

So how many nights are you looking at getting a room for? I definitely want a room for Saturday, but was probably not going to bother with Friday due to the price. If we can figure out this sharing thing, though, that would make it feasible. I think when I checked last night they had twin rooms available for the Friday to Sunday at £90 a night. Are you going back on Sunday or Monday?
