I think I'm one of those oddball English degree holders. I loved Wuthering Heights (and I'm honestly flummoxed as to why so many people dislike this story), Jude, Northanger Abbey, Unbearable Lightness of Being, and one of the best things I ever read was in a modern fiction class - "Written on the Body" by Jeanette Winterson.

Heheh!!! Well, I suppose it would be dull if we all liked the same things. I can't stand Wuthering Heights or Jude. In fact I hate all of Thomas Hardy's novels because they're so bloody depressing!
