I really want to just grab Clark by the shoulders and shake him and tell him how amazing he has been this year and how quickly he descended into crap as soon as Lana came back

My words! And, even when we leave out the Clex, and pretend it's not existing at all, Lex never saw Lana as his equal. He loved her, sure, but not as his equal partner. More like his trophy wife...

Date: 2009-01-27 07:03 pm (UTC)But no, people from the future have to suck her ass, and Tess has to worship her and then automatically believe what the woman who stole from her and pulled a gun on her has to say, and Clark forgets that she abandoned him (and oh yeah, did some seriously illegal things last season and loved evil Bizarro more than him). I would have even liked the Talon scene, for the nostalgia, but then Lana's spine is gone and they're smooching again like nothing ever happened.
ETA: I'll add how weird it is for them to be kissing in Bulletproof when Bride and Legion seemed to be friendship!Clana. I mean, I know for Clanaers, the porch scene must have been lovely, but it was just so non-romantic, so we-have-moved-on-and-grown-up.

Moving on... Apparently even the writers can't do math. Where was the executive script editor on the 14 thing?! It's their job to catch that sort of GLARING error. Um... They were 15 when the show started. And wasn't Lana 16 by the time the Talon opened? It's sad that I can't recall for sure considering I just rewatched S1 with the BBF's boyfriend right after christmas, but whatever.
Tess was sort of awesome this week. I actually like her now. It's weird.
When is Lois coming back, because I feel like there needs to be some sort of conversation with Lana before she flounces off to wherever the hell she's going.
