Velocity is actually quite a dull episode of Smallville. It made my annoyance at Clark resurface when he steals Lex's car, and it demonstrated that I have clearly been watching too much Top Gear

Lex looking pretty. I can see why a lot of people latched onto Chloe/Lex in Season 3. He keeps giving her these looks. The same looks he gives Clark.

Look at this car! It's ridiculous! I was imagining the Top Gear boys taking it for a test drive and snarking about how there is only an inch between the front of the car and the ground. WHY IS THAT EVEN THERE?

Oh, no, the car pictured is the car Pete was racing for his pal. The car Clark steals is Lex's Porsche, in order to help Pete settle his debt to the big bad car racing mack daddy.

I totally can't see Lex driving that car, either! LOL!

We were just talking about this episode a little while ago on lex_minions here (http://community.livejournal.com/lex_minions/36707.html), and yeah, it always bugged me how Clark behaved.

Lex is just a tramp, letting people see his keys so shamelessly. He's just asking for people to steal his car. (Considering it's been stolen four times now by friends... And three times by Lana, hm.)
