It's funny but the first...well, several episodes of Merlin I was pretty indifferent to Merlin as a character other than his role as boyfriend to Arthur. Now, however, that I have developed an intense crush on Colin Morgan I'm spotting all sorts of wonderful moments that I just ignored when I watched the episode the first time around

I love this moment. Arthur and Merlin share a little joke and a smile, then Arthur remembers he's supposed to hate Merlin and gives him lots of nasty jobs to do

Hee! You know, I always thought Arthur was the pretty one of the show (and oh, he is) but over the last few days I have perhaps reevaluated my feelings on the attractiveness of Merlin. And this just sealed it for me. *grins*

Hee! Yes, I went through exactly the same thing. It was all about Arthur for me for ages and then all of I sudden I went 'hang on...' and now I love Merlin just as much, if not even slightly more, than Arthur.

I have to admit, I prefer Arthur mostly. BUT it because I love them in different ways... if that makes sense.

Yes, they're both yum, but for me its more that I love Colin in more of a 'squish him, stare at his expressions and keep him' manner and Bradley in more of a 'uhm, yes, I may have left him chained to the bed after ravaging him... why'd you ask?' way.

Not that I'd *not* chain Colin to a bed, if the chance arose. Or keep Bradley. *grin*

OH, and yes: the whole giving Arthur the crown officially scene in the later episode reallllllly confused me, because I'd seen him wearing it already.

Perhaps he's stolen it and was playing dress up in his rooms with Merlin?

Do we possibly share a brain? I have gone through exactly the same thing, so that by watching eps 11 thru 13 I was dividing my drooling time between Colin and Bradley. Although I have to agree with lux_astraea and if given the choice of one or t'other, I would say Bradley any time...although if the offer of both came up...heh. Would be a shame to look a gift horse in the mouth, right?

But yes, when I rewatched the very first ep, I was seeing all these, 'oh he actually IS really pretty' moments. Maybe Merlin/Colin is a grower? (in a non-yucky sense)

Everytime I watch them I wonder why my computer/TV has exploded from too much pretty.
Merlin I just want to smother in kisses with possibly some nibbling thrown in.

I promised myself not to compare this show to Supernatural but damnit idk why people think it's similar to Robin Hood when this is just a new SN... So just as I was with the previous show I obviously firstly fell for Bradley, now I'm all ohmygodcolin but I'll be back to Bradley later :P But they're just both so pretty and cute and I just watched this show too many times than could be good for my brain :P
