Also, does anyone know of any free software that will enable me to convert big files (like TV episodes) into iPod format. I use zamzar for my fanvids but that only allows up to 100mb

I like the AVS video converter. There is a free version, which leaves a watermark about every 50 seconds, but the complete version is inexpensive and totally worth it. Because of it, I have Rave Macbeth and Sorority Boys on my iPod!

It was 29 American. Not bad at all, and it sends you emails when you can update to newer versions for free. It's a one-time cost.

(Do you have more Clex vid recs, by any chance? I have realized that I have pitifully few vids of teh pretty boys... T_T )

As far as vid converters go, I've got an awesome one you can't get online anymore (the creator quit, but told everyone how to move it to a new machine if you happen to need to), but it would only work if you have a Mac. ^^;; It's pretty nifty, though. It can convert just about any format to just about any other format. I use it in conjunction with DownloadHelper to steal vids off YouTube. (Like I just stole that vid off imeem... XDD )

Oh, yes, my housemate has a Mac and I used to just get her to do all my converting for me.

I'll try to package up the program I use, then. I don't know if it will work properly, but hopefully it will? (I haven't had to transfer it to another computer, so I haven't really tested to make sure their instructions work.) ^^
