LJ seems to be eating comments again *pouts*
I woke up about 4 hours after I went to sleep this morning and had the forsight to drink two pints of water. Don't have a hangover as a result \o/
I had strange dreams last night. I went to work in my PJs because I'd forgotten something. Dad-Ra came with me and brought Max and Fergus. Greg was there and sitting at his desk wearing sunglasses. Max and Fergus ran around in the office while Dad-Ra stood outside having a cigarette
Then I had a dream that Bradley James was my BFF. He was trying to do his homework, or something but I kept pestering him. It was weird because even though I thought he was hot in my dream we had very much a brother/sister relationship. I was winding him up a lot, I remember that.
No one has defriended me since the honesty meme thing. Fair enough. I can't force any of you. It does make me think that the person who left that nasty comment isn't actually someone from my flist though.
Right, I'm off to the supermarket with Dad-Ra and then I have my flist to catch up with. We were going to take the doggies for a walk up Sutton Bank today but I realised I don't actually have suitable footwear with me. Boo!
Hope 2009 is getting off to a good start for all of you

I'm sorry to hear a few people were being a bit moany about your many many posts. You're right. It's your journal so they can fuck off!
You do post a lot but it's usually quite funny and even though I'm not a Smallville or Merlin fan, if it doesn't relate to me, I just skim through the post quickly and move on. I don't have to like everything you post. I'm sure everything I post is not extremely interesting to everyone on my flist. I can usually tell that by the entire lack of comments I receive, lol.
And also? I rely on your posts when I'm at work and bored and just keep refreshing my lj to see there's a random post from you. I can always rely on you to keep me entertained then.
Anyway, just thought I'd say that because I didn't get to take part in the honesty meme. Oh, and that's why I didn't add myself to the honesty meme! I can't tolerate criticism or even worse, no one commenting! :D

Date: 2009-01-01 05:50 pm (UTC)I can't tell if they really were trying to be mean or truely thought what they said was constructive criticism (I have known people like that - who think they are being kind by pointing out things they consider flaws in unpleasant ways).
In any case try not to let it get to you. I <3 your icons and while I haven't read much of your fic I've certainly enjoyed the few I have :) I think people forget that us fanfic writers aren't trying to be actual authors here, we're just having fun and we each do it differently. And I don't mind if you post a lot :D
Have a good 2009 and do whatever you want here, as you say it's your journal, you shouldn't have to change it for anyone! :D
