Afternoon all!

LJ seems to be eating comments again *pouts*

I woke up about 4 hours after I went to sleep this morning and had the forsight to drink two pints of water. Don't have a hangover as a result \o/

I had strange dreams last night. I went to work in my PJs because I'd forgotten something. Dad-Ra came with me and brought Max and Fergus. Greg was there and sitting at his desk wearing sunglasses. Max and Fergus ran around in the office while Dad-Ra stood outside having a cigarette

Then I had a dream that Bradley James was my BFF. He was trying to do his homework, or something but I kept pestering him. It was weird because even though I thought he was hot in my dream we had very much a brother/sister relationship. I was winding him up a lot, I remember that.

No one has defriended me since the honesty meme thing. Fair enough. I can't force any of you. It does make me think that the person who left that nasty comment isn't actually someone from my flist though.

Right, I'm off to the supermarket with Dad-Ra and then I have my flist to catch up with. We were going to take the doggies for a walk up Sutton Bank today but I realised I don't actually have suitable footwear with me. Boo!

Hope 2009 is getting off to a good start for all of you

This is also a momentous occasion, folks. I just had my first ever PB&J sandwich! Nom nom nom! I liked it! Next I will be experimenting with PB&J on toast because PB on toast is delicious!

Well, it's that time of the year where I make my New Year resolutions.

1. Write more. lex_a_like threw down the gauntlet and suggested I challenge myself since NaNo is beyond me. So, my target is 100,000 words in 12 months. It might not seem like a lot to the more prolific of you but it's more than I've ever managed in the past. In 2007 my total word count was 93,000 and that was a struggle. Last year I only managed 38,500 so it will certainly be a challenge.

2. Lose weight/get fit. I've let myself go the past few months so I really need to start eating healthily again and go to the gym regularly. After I've eaten all my Christmas chocolate of course.

3. Sort out my job situation. I will almost certainly be made redundant some time this year. At the moment it's scheduled for August and unless I get offered the perfect job in the meantime I'm going to take the redundacy and then I'll need to start looking for something new.

4. Put enough in my savings account to cover moving house and my holiday to Italy.
