In which I ramble about a lot of stuff

hilsDave is here so I won't be online as frequently as usual. Yes, I can hear you all heaving a sigh of relief.
Pretty much all we have on the cards is copious DVD watching. So far we've watched the second Futurama film, Galaxy Quest and The Pilot of Supernatural.
It's funny, first of all I suggested to Dave we watch Merlin (of course) but he said he wanted to wait until it's finished and watch it all in one go. At least he wants to watch it though. Score. He said the same thing about Season 2 of The Sarah Connor Chronicles. When I suggested Smallville he threatened to eat his own eyeballs and then mine. Well, I have spent about two years telling him how bad it was ;)
He almost relented as he wanted to watch an episode with Bizarro in. I wasn't sure though. I think you need to have followed the plot to understand that episode. What do you think?
But he was happy to try Supernatural. Maybe because he wasn't expecting to like it so figured one episode would be enough.
He liked it. Hee! We're probably going to watch more tomorrow.
Apparently I did it no favours by describing it as Buffy with pretty boys ;) That's not the way to convince guys to watch the show or so I've been told.
Dave's only negative comment was the slightly clunky script which crams a lot of exposition in. I told him that gets better.
What I noticed was how young the boys look, how bad Sam's hair is and that the acting has improved a hell of a lot in 4 years.
I'm going to have to get my squishy cushion out for Bloody Mary and Provenance if we get that far so I can hide behind it ;)
Oh, and Dave brought me the second half of All-Star Superman so I can finally finish reading it.
Maybe I'll get Dave to watch Justice instead of Bizarro ;)
And totally unrelated to anything but how woobie is Arthur in Valiant? I'd totally forgotten! I was re-watching it looking for caps for my header and my god that boy needs a hug. I'll do it if Merlin is busy ;) I need Valiant comfort fic now.
