I have decided I am a lost cause. Seriously. This episode had such a lame and totally contrived plot whose purpose just seemed to be to convince the Chlark shipppers that it's never going to happen.

Yet I still got all teary when Lois said she loved Clark

AND

I got all gleeful when Clark said 'Statistically it's the safer way to travel'

So, really, all you need to do is toss a bit of Clois or Superman movie canon in there and I will ignore all the bad stuff and be happy

I need a Clois icon still. I just haven't seen one I like yet.

Oh, and did Oliver and Tess do it in Lex's bed? They totally did.

If you think about it though this is the het version of what Clex would be like. LOL!

Is it in Justin's contract that he must have his shirt off once per episode?

I don't think we'll see Clark learning to fly until the end, if we even see it at all.

Seems to me they said something in San Diego about the no flights no tights thing, and that one of them is true.

But I could be delirious.

It was more in the sense of him becoming closer to being Superman this season.

Did you notice that the closing credits music is less farmer and more super?

I never watch the closing credits. My download generally cuts off as soon as it fades to black anyway

They've changed the music this season. Very epic. I think the whole tone of the show is more related now to Clark Kent - Grownup - superhero.

And that's a good thing as far as I'm concerned. It's pulled me right back in
