Greetings from Shakespeare country! WHEE!!!

Haven't been here long but I've had good news and bad

The good news is that according to the girl behind reception the town centre isn't far away at all. It's certainly not the 3 miles Google claimed it was. Got no idea what's going on there

Bad news is it's raining so I don't really want to go out and explore just yet. I'm hoping it will settle down later. I'll need to go out for dinner anyway. I'm not eating in the hotel, it's bloody expensive even with the £5 discount they offered me

(Somebody else on my flist is going, and it'd be kinda funny for you guys to both be there on the same night, totally different sides of fandom....)

Sheep Street has a lot of good places to eat, some of them quite reasonable in price too. You go up the extra-wide street with M&S in it, turn left at the roundabout, then first left after Waterstones.
