For me I wish I had a fast-forward button. But Clark was looking hot and there was lots of good Clark/Ollie. And the end scene with Clark and Lois was cute.

I like Clark/Ollie as a cheap replacement for Clex. LOL!

Same here! I really like Ollie though.

I actually missed Lex a lot more than I thought I would - it really hit me, he isn't there anymore. *cries*

Well, I think every episode is worth watching...but what do I know. lol
I thought the ep was a little dull for a season premiere actually--but I have replayed the dirty, scruffy, soaking wet Clark scenes over and over again. If for no other reason...THAT is worth the watch. :)

I just finished watching SPN. I thought it was awesome

Aww shit - I didn't see that coming. It was t'awesome, but at the same time quite sad.

This is to be the last series then. Sam and Dean on opposite sides of the fight :(

Of course, not sure what side is which yet. Castiel isn't an angel I've ever heard of, but there's one called Cassiel, said to preside over the death of kings - but otherwise he doesn't interfere in the cosmos, he simply watches. He's one of the seven archangels.

So if he never interferes, why now?

It could also be the light bringer, aurora morningstar, Lucifer* returned to earth. Demons would fear and worship him, he is an archangel, and he lead the fight against God that had them all banished to hell (the original demons, we now know the current crop were mostly former humans).

The balance of power has changed, Sam can take on demons and cast them back to hell with his powers, and even the strongest demon can't touch him. Lucifer would probably consider other demons weak, being former humans they would be susceptible to his visage (hence the diner demons having burnt out eyes).

Let's not forget Ruby - if she really is Ruby (I preferred the other actress :( ), she's busy leading Sam down the road of using his powers. So far he's taking on demons, how long before he starts to control them, like the girl in season 2? Once demons learn what he's doing, they're going to try and come at him.

Dean's not going to like what he finds out - I'm convinced Cassiel won't, and it could be the split between the brother's that has them fighting at cross purposes.

It's all so big, I don't know who's who, or what their agenda is, I cna only fear how this will all end :(

Yet this episode, and this series looks teh awesome :D

Well, it wasn't the best episode ever, it was a bit clunky in parts, but I enjoyed it overall.

Not sure what to think of Tess yet as a Lex replacement, but I actually have more hope for Sam Witwer as Davis Bloom/Doomsday.

He's a very good actor and should be able to carry it off.

Yeah, Tess and Doomsday were the main factors in putting me off watching it. If they turn out to be good then all will be well

Well, she's interesting but kept saying, "We have to find Lex, that's all that's important."

I can sorta see that becoming the most important or her story arcs, the search for Lex, but if she keeps saying that every week then it'll get kinda boring.

That minion of Lex's, he was the guy in the plane with him in Arctic, seems more interesting this year. He knows Lex went to the Arctic to find the Traveler, but then he didn't discuss that with Tess, which I thought was interesting. Tess did have a clue at the end that will probably lead her to Clark also being there with Lex. (But then will she find out that Lex was there with the traveler? who knows...)

It should make their relationship very interesting, but Clark hasn't met her yet that we know of so I'll have to wait and see.

When they do meet Clark will just be sad that she's a girl ;)

I'm probably in a minority - but I thought that was awesome. A bit rushed, it could have been spread over two episodes, but there probably wasn't enough to fill two episodes, while being too much for one. An hour and a half special would have rocked though.

Lex wasn't in it - but his presence, or lack of, seemed to be felt for the characters. The new big bad though, kind of annoying - I'm hoping she develops a character soon.

Ollie ♥ :D, I'm hoping there's going to be so much more of the Justice time this season. Was good to see AC again.

Green Arrow rocks my socks :D

I think, in balance, Supernatural was the better season premier, it was less rushed - and had bigger revelations. However, this is probably the best start to a Smallville season for two or three seasons.

I'm hoping nothing here spoils the story if you watch it - I could say sooo much more

I think Terminator kicked both of their asses, not that I've seen Smallville yet but basing it on what people have said

Terminator was excellent, but it doesn't really compare to Supernatural in my mind.

Man crawling out of grave, compared with robot just surviving a small bomb that if it destroyed would have wrecked the idea of Terminators being tough. Dean coming back from the dead, I never could work out how they'd pull it off. The logical thing would be for Sam to go marching into hell, using all his powers - but that wasn't all that realistic, and it would be hell on the cinematography. Selling souls is like so passé, it's been done to death - literally.

Angel/Demon coming from wherever it dead and dragging out of hell into his body - that was teh awesome.

It was definitely Supernatural that got my blood pumping. Smallville got the tears flowing though... Terminator was exciting, and they get extra points for the best looking big bad for a long time.

The JLA was kickass, MM was bad as hell, and the Chlark was fan-fucking-tastic. Clois is still brother/sister and Lois is still not-smart. So there ya go.

okay, not-smart is harsh. She was her usual self. She went to rescue Chloe, which was cool.

I enjoyed this episode and I don't watch Smallville normally. I'd gotten caught up in this episode because I didn't want to have the DVR mess up and not get the premiere of SPN.

I guess I like teamwork more than a singular hero?

I missed Lex terribly, but it was an excellent premiere. Definetly worth watching. Even if it did suck though, Tom Welling's hotness in this episode would have definetly made up for it!
