More Cardiff pics
Sep. 9th, 2008 01:20 pmFinal batch of Cardiff pics. These are all from The Museum of Welsh Life

I'll apologise now for my poor memory. I can't remember what a lot of these places are but they look pretty. LOL. I believe this is a farmer's cottage.

Or maybe this is the farmer's cottage. And Mum-Ra

Turkey and ducks

Inside a celtic hut

Outside

Woodland walk

Wooden stonehenge

Church

Some fantastic 16th century (I believe) painting that were uncovered and restored on the walls

Another cottage

Prefab house

This sheep did not like me! He bleated at me really loudly and ran at me! I had no idea sheep were that loud

Another cottage

School

Inside the school

The Workers Institute

The Italian Garden

The house that the garden is attached to

I just thought this was pretty

Date: 2008-09-09 02:18 pm (UTC)When I was in Ireland once a few years back, a friend and I were walking down the road between our cottage and the caretaker's home (essentially the road we were on was in the middle of a a sheep pasture). Well, it must have been just about feeding time because three "mafia" sheep walked... actually more like sauntered (in that Italian Mafia/Sopranos TV show syle) up the road toward us and the one in the middle (which was like twice the size of a normal sheep) stopped, looked at us and in the deepest sheep voice I have ever heard in my life Bbbbbaaaaaaaaaaaa'd at us. Seriously, I was waiting for him to pull out the gun and whack us for not having their dinner!
Sheep - it's always the non-threatening looking animals you have to worry about!
