I think 90210 is going to be my new guilty pleasure show. It's incredibly silly but I'm kind of into it. LOL!

I'm loving that none of the teengaers actually look like teenagers. LOL!

Jennie Garth looks great but Shannen Doherty looks like hell!

I'm already trying to work out who Harry's son is. I'm guessing Ryan.

Hee! Such a silly soap!

I've just put series 1 of the original 90210 on my Amazon Wishlist. I kind of want to watch it now

I just hope they keep Brenda. I always loved her, but I could totally do without Kelly.

Anyway, that show has potential to become my new guilty pleasure - now, that Smallville is over.

I think the original 90210 may have started the now long-standing tradition of having teenagers played by twenty-somethings. I remember that Luke Perry in particular was a bit hard to buy as a high school kid. :)

I never watched the original much, and didn't catch the new one, but it's fun that you're enjoying it! I guess Gossip Girl is my guilty pleasure. I love that show. I didn't realize until Friday night when I watched a BTS special that the actor who plays Chuck is English. But then, I was one of the airheads who thought JM was as well. LOL!

I love it. The parents are unbelievable monsters who inflict their children with emotional abuse on a daily basis, and the kids are mostly incredibly spoiled brats who spend their days shopping, drinking, and having sex, but it's not their fault, it's all because of the aforementioned awful parents. :) Everyone is very, very pretty, and they do give you one "poor" (in quotes because everything's relative) family with whom you're supposed to identify, and for whom you're supposed to root. I can't get enough of it. :)

I don't think I can watch it, and I really want to! I love Shenae (the lead girl teenager). I loved her on Degrassi...but Gossips Girl is much better IMHO. I'll probably catch 90210 this week again, give it another shot, unless it is up against Fringe.

Really? I may give it a go. I love Gossip Girl, and I mostly wasn't planning to watch 90210 because 1) I watched it as a kid and 2) CW spent all their time promoting 90210 and not Smallville like... at ALL!!

I think Jennie Garth was one of my first serious girl crushes. ;)
