I've gone back as far as skip 980 and I'm still not fully caught up. If I haven't commented on something you want me to see then drop me a comment.

Now, my trip to Wales in bullet points (or numbered points to be precise)

1. The motorway is scary! I was warned but it was worse than I imagined. I nearly got crushed twice by people not looking and pulling into my lane. Driving home was a bit better.

2. I went to some of the Torchwood external locations and it was awesome, especially since my Mum grew up in Cardiff so knew where all the interesting places were. I was amused to discover that Splott is a real place, and Mum-Ra was amused when I used Ianto's 'I believe the locals pronounce it Sploh' line.

3. I went to a Doctor Who exhibit which was also cool, and mostly had stuff from New Who so I didn't feel like a n00b

4. I saw lots of old castles. I love visiting castles.

5. I saw Hellboy 2 and that was awesome too.

6. I went to few museums too and they were interesting

7. I went to the park where my mum used to play when she was a kid. It was right next to the beach so I got to see the sea too.

8. I saw Aled Jones in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

I think that was the bulk of it

Reading through my flist I am super-excited about meeting Michael next month now I have read all the awesome reports about the thing last weekend

Michael said [livejournal.com profile] drusplace was a hottie and he demanded that [livejournal.com profile] richess grab his ass to feel how flat it was

I am in envy of my friends! LOL!

Who else is going to Collectormania? I know about [livejournal.com profile] complicat, [livejournal.com profile] yavannauk and [livejournal.com profile] aurora_bee

Anyone else joining our posse?

YAY! After seeing your 2 photos post I'm wondering how many I should get next month now. I think 4 per day is the max ;)

...An ass-grab invitation? Lucky!

Sounds like you had a great time.

...I'm thinking I need to start watching Dr. Who and/or Torchwood. Far too many people I know watch one or both. And it's just frustrating never knowing what you're all talking about. =Þ

Yarrrgh. I need to get to your side of the Atlantic so I can visit castles. I love old buildings, but the oldest interesting buildings we have over here don't tend to be older than the early 1800's. *sigh*

Your holiday sounds like it was lovely. I'm so jealous that you have castles to visit! I did see The Tower (does that count as a castle?) and Windsor on my one trip to England, and they were both amazing.

Michael is made of love, isn't he? ♥

Windsor is definitely a castle. I don't think The Tower counts *g* Although to be fair I've never visited either

I'm so excited about meeting Michael now

What?! Do only tourists go to those two? LOL!

Hehe! Well, Windsor Castle is quite far away from me and when I'm in London I have friends who live there so they're not interested in doing touristy stuff

I'll get there at some point

So you went to Wales for the Dr. Who/Torchwood exhibition especially? That's awesome! Exploring shows like that must be loads of fun! Damn, I wish we had those shows in Germany. So many people squee about them and the characters and the like but I don't have a clue what they're on about. :/ Can I watch Torchwood without having seen Dr. Who? I'm just a bit scared of wading through loads and loads of series (with about a dozen different doctors), and Torchwood hasn't been around for so long...

No, you don't need to have seen Doctor Who to watch Torchwood.
