As much as I love Michael, his 'kneel before Zod' isn't as awesome as Terrence Stamp's

BUT

Tom kneeling in front of Michael is a thing of beauty

Now I'm imagining the hot sex Lex as Zod and Clark as Kal-El (from Crusade) could have

Ooh, mama!

Oh, it probably has. I've read Lex/Kal-El and Clark/Zod but not both. I'm sure it's out there somewhere

I think that when you're re-doing such an iconic moment, it sort of comes off as a little funny, no matter if it's well done or not. IMO, they shouldn't have tried--no one can top that moment by Terrence Stamp.

It's not Zod/Kal-El, but one of the hottest Clark/Zod stories I've ever read (although it doesn't end Clark/Zod) is by [livejournal.com profile] supercaptain182. It's called the Rise and Fall of the Last Kryptonian Consort.

OOH! I shall have to check it out

And I agree they shouldn't have given Michael that line. It was never going to work effectively. Yet again the writers get it wrong. LOL!

Wow. I think my head kinda just exploded thinking of that.

And I agree about the line. Michael's awesome, but it's Terrence Stamp, after all. I don't think that can be re-done. (Though I do think Michael played Zod quite well overall)
