I've been defriended by three people this week. Is it someting I said?

Well, in the case of the person who defriended me over Twilight, it was. LOL!

But I've made new friends too so it all balances out in the great world of LJ

I've actually been friended by some strange people lately... the journals were in Russian...

I was like WTF?

*shrug*

One of them defriended me again, so no great loss...

I have no idea who they were, they'd never commented in any of my stories or anything.

Yeah, I've had like three people do it and then two of them defriended me.

No great loss, although I did have common interests with them so that might explain the original friending, but I had nver had any contact with them so no biggie, so I don't know....

*huggle!glomps* I'm not defriending you. I've just accepted the fact that I'm going to disagree with a lot of people over Twilight. (I actually liked it for the most part ...once I got into the second half.) I'm not going to ditch you as a friend over some book.

Weirdness is catching. A couple of years back I experienced a Great Defriending Frenzy when about half a dozen people, some of whom I'd thought of as quite good [LJ] friends, dropped me like a hot potato without a word. I never did find out what I was supposed to have done! I was hurt at the time, but now I just look back and think well, fuck 'em, then. (This, btw, is an excellent philosophy for all parts of life.)
