It's funny but on a second viewing Season 1 of Torchwood is nothing like I remember. I don't hate Gwen and Owen anywhere near as much as I used to and Ianto was awesome even back then (it's amusing that my first thoughts in Season 2 were that they'd totally re-written his character which, really, they haven't)

And I loved the outtakes. They are such a bunch of geeks, especially Eve. I'm so glad I decided to get her autograph at Collectormania.

I never did hate Gwen. Quite like her, actually.

I still didn't like Owen until he was an ex-Owen, and I will NEVER like Cyberwoman.

I did enjoy season one so much more the second time I watched it.

Owen is definitely an asshole in Season 1 but I can kind of see why now. I don't know. Overall I just liked it

Heh, I *always* loved Gwen, but moreso before she started down the slippery slope of being 'hardened'; I loved her wide-eyed gawping at everything new, against the wrongness of some of the things they had to do. I didn't care for Owen much but came to adore him near the end.

The finale broke my heart into little pieces.
