It looks like Spuffy is well and truly dead. I'd have been upset by this a few years ago but I don't mind so much now. It's all so messed up. Wesley loved Fred but can't be with her because he's a ghost. Spike loves Fred but can't be with her because he needs her to be Illyria. Fred/Illyria seems to have no idea what's going on.

It's really interesting seeing how Spike has wound up as a leader though. It just sort of happened. Hehe! I'm guessing the girls in latex at the end is Spider and the Spikettes. LOL!

Can't wait for more.

Spike loves Fred now too?

I sort of was curious about the comic until I read that. Meh. :/ (Mind you I don't hate Fred - I just don't get what the big deal that everyone falls in love with her is. Especially SPIKE. Meh. Maybe it's the Spuffy shipper in me? I dunno ... )

Well, he hasn't outright said it but it's been implied.

I always imagined the Spike/Fred thing to be more like the Spike/Willow thing from BtVS (after he got chipped) where they're kind of friends but in a brother/sister way

Yeah - exactly! This idea that he's in love with her really throws me. But then I haven't been really feeling any of the comics for a while now. I actually stopped reading them and only know what's happening anymore via the flist.

I'm still with the Angel comics. The Buffy one has lost the plot entirely.

I told Brian Lynch that he had the voices, and that I prefer the pace of the Angel comics since comic book time isn't the same as TV time (per issue, or even four issues like the Buffy books seem to think of as an episode). I seem to have made him happy.

I'm not convinced (though there's more issues to come) that Spike loves Fred in that way.
