Well, my plan went mostly according to...uh...plan. I didn't get an awesome milkshake in the end because I feel a bit sick. But I did have an awesome lunch and go for a boat ride on the river.

Dad-Ra called and Mum-Ra is going to put me on the insurance of her car so I can drive it when I visit. Current plan is for me to visit in a couple of weeks and take the doggies out somewhere. My instructor has advised me to have someone in the car with my the first couple of times I go out, and Dad-Ra (and the doggies) have volunteered. The fools! LOL!

I'm really not in the mood for aerobics. It's too bloody hot and I've had a nice day and just want to relax now. Luckily Ros just texted me and she doesn't want to go either, so we're just going out for dinner. Next week I will be upping to two aerobics sessions a week in an effort to get fit again. I've been slacking these last few weeks and I can afford an extra class now I'm not paying for driving lessons

And I'm buying myself Season 1 of Torchwood as a present!

Pirates! We went past them again a bit later and they shouted 'ahoy' and saluted us. Being saluted by pirates is the second most awesome thing that's happened today. LOL! And, yes, I saluted back.

I have nothing picturesque around where I live unless I go in the car somewhere.. which I don't fancy when it's hot. My highlight today has been Sainsburys... how sad is that! LOL!!!

And I've always wanted to go on one of the river cruises in York, but in 26 years somehow never got round to it.

Being on the water is awesome though - I'm considering getting a ferry somewhere during my two weeks off, just to be on the water.
