It's 3:45am and I'm still at work. I'm expecting to be here until the early workers arrive at 8am

On top of it all I've managed to pick up an eye infection. The skin around my right eye is all dry and itchy and has since become sore because I've been rubbing it too much :( I've had this problem before and I think it might be allergy related. Not sure. Anyway, it's bloody hard to find stuff you can use on or around your eyes! I'm currently using some Eye Contour Gel which is mostly for refreshing the eyes but it seems to be relieving the symptoms a little

If anyone can think of anything better to use I'll gladly hear it

I hope it gets better, but if the skin is irratated, you might want to try a cortisone cream...

I sometimes get dry patched over my eye, on the eyebrow, and that is the only thing that helps sometimes, but you'd have to use care not to get it into your eye.

I hope it gets better soon.

Yeah, this is the problem. It's my eyelid and the skin directly around the eye so it pretty much impossible not to get cream in it. This is why I'm using something designed specifically for eyes

Whenever I have problems like that, I usually put a little stye ointment on it. Don't know about Britain, but here you can get just a moisturizing ointment over the counter at a pharmacy or pharmacy section of a grocery store.

If you can't find that, put some eye cream on it. If you need somoething for really sensitive skin, plain eye cream will do it, and it's made so it won't hurt your eyeballs.

I have some cream eyeshadow that feels cold when you put it on. Perhaps you can find something like that too cool it.

This job seems very unpleasant & tiring :(

Hope the eye clears up - for allergies, I sometimes wash my eye out with contact lens solution & it soothes the itching.

The job has never been this bad in the whole time I've been here. It's just unfortunate that we had a major incident when 3/4 of the usual team isn't here.

It has been resolved now, thankfully, and words will be had with management as soon as I see them

Oilatum cream should sort out your eye OK. Available in most chemists.
