Quick question

old_school_clex is a paid account and the account is going to expire soon.

Is it worth having a paid account for a community? I think initially I did it because paid account were the only ones that let you have a custom header. I don't think that's the case now

Can anyone advise?

I'd switch it to basic. That's what I have danceswithclex set to and I haven't had any issues with it. Because I set up the account before the LJ ad changeover - no ads on basic.

I'm not sure whether I'll get ads or not. I don't know when the changeover was

I don't think you will - I'm pretty sure you had it set up before it happened.

Can you even get a basic account now? The ads might be a hassle. I have ads on my fic journal and don't really notice them.

Well, it reverts back to a basic account when the paid time runs out, because that's what it was before I upgraded to a paid account

Unless you make regular changes to the layout, I find it's not necessary.
